Charged and invigorating Muscat d’Alsace. A blend of two local varieties, Muscat Blanc and Muscat Ottonel on limestone-clay soils in Husseren. From a 0.3ha parcel belonging to Domaine Kuentz-Bas. Bruno has tentatively taken over the vineyard from 2022, doubling his Muscat production. The vines have seen 18 years of biodynamics efforts beforehand. Extended direct pressing with fermentation and aging on lees in large Foudres for 8 to 9 months. A turbid and highly expressive Muscat. Energetic with tell-tale florals and big citric energy in the glass. Lemon and lime flavours that jolt you awake.
