From the village of Morgon in Beaujolais. 100% Gamay, sourced from biodynamic grapes grown by Roland Pignard on the rocky, granite soils of “Les Charmes". Semi-carbonic maceration, with a gentle pressing. In total 2 years of élevage in barrels. Big and brooding Gamay with the intensity of Morgon and lots of earthy rustic fruit. Dark tones and big persistance in the mouth. There's plenty of lively acid that makes this immediately agreeable with its freshness bringing things in balance. Vrai gourmand vin.
