From young vines of Rubinet and Sevar that Richard planted in 2012. Two early ripening varieties that were cross-bred in the Czech Republic to be fungal-resistant. What was cultivated was directed toward cheap or bulk wines, but Richard wanted to see what the potential could be for a quality wine from these grapes. 10 day fermentation with foot stomping and 10 months aging in acacia barrels. Deeply colored and intensely violet wine that brings sappy dark fruit with a touch of herbal bitterness.
