100% Welschriesling, from old vines planted in 1987. Fermented on the skins for 2 weeks, in open-top wooden vats and then pressed into acacia wood barrels to age for over 20 months. This wine is Richard's showstopper, with its pure intensity. Fruit, florals, and spices mix together on the nose and give a very distinct sensation. Nostalgic when everything comes together reminding us of a type of sweet musk or cologne. Very dry in the mouth with considerable grip and a long and complex finish.
