A direct press blend of Syrah and Viognier, both grapes from Gérald and Jocelyne Oustric at Le Mazel. Separate slow presses for both grapes over the course of 2-3 days, with blending of the juice after pressing. Moved into their new Alsacien Foudres. The wine fermented and aged on lees over the winter and spring before bottling in the summer. Cooling and fresh scented, with ease and fluidity. A rosé that sits closer to a light red in style. Bright high-toned florals on the nose, with a cooling sensation like that of menthol. Ripe red fruits and citrus on the palate with a salty touch.
