Iconic white wine of the domaine. Chardonnay and Savagnin 50% from Jura, with Pinot Auxerrois, Abondant, Sylvaner, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris 40% from Alsace. Also 10% Mauzac from Limoux. All grapes direct pressed and aged in barrel for one year. Grapes that are normally macerated as “O caminho do bem.” Aged together for 3 years in large Alsacien Foudres. The blend this vintage: A hyper tense marriage of Jura limestone, the floral qualities of Alsace, and the rich fruit of the South. As elegant as it is precise. A stunning expression of each of its parts, yet cohesive and singular from its years of aging on fine lees. Glossy texture, with rich candied citrus, and sweet scented florals.
