Clo Clo Rosé

Gussago, Franciacorta, Italy

Named after Alessandra’s mother, Clo Clo is a zero-zero brut rosé of 100% Pinot Noir. Clay-limestone soils from her vines in Gussago. A gentle second pressing of Pinot Noir gaining a touch more character from the skins during the second press (the first press goes toward the Blanc de Noirs). Base wine from the 2020 vintage, aged on lees in barrel for 42 months before being blended with a 25% portion of Pinot Noir vin de reserve. Natural tirage and disgorged in January 2024. Light pink in colour, it's delicately fragrant with a powerful mineral expression. Citrus, and dried fruits with richness and depth from 3.5 years on the lees.
