Momento Mori, the natural wine project of Dane Johns and Hannah Miller, has become a prominent name in Australia's natural wine scene since its inception in 2015. With a focus on organically farmed grapes and sustainable practices, the couple has built a devoted following for their small-batch négociant wines made from less common Italian varietals, as well as their own vines, which they farm under the Nikau label. Based in Southern Gippsland, they live and farm their property while producing wines that reflect a deep respect for nature, history, and the unique character of their vineyards.
